I got some direct of ebay last year, before aqua marine imports got his in stock, whilst cleaning them today i found that the shafts have gone rusty,so this is what ive done, and anybody with them my want to do the same.

I cleaned the unit and found that an ear bud is just wide enough, but not long enough,so i cut 2 buds in half and heads of and it fits and works perfect,as these are plastic ti will not rust. :D:D

You can use those electrodes for welding steel 316 of 2,5mm. Get the central steel rod of the electrode, and cut it with the same lenght has the one that sunsun pump uses.

I've made it and it works very well. Note that the electrode must be for 316 steel 'cause this is the type of steel that doesn't rust with saltwater.
