diy tank divider

I need to get hold of or make a tank divider. Is there any material that I should not use? looking to get either some acrylic or perspex will this be ok? it is for a jewel rio 300 tank..

Hi you want to use egg crate so the the flow still goes through. Twiggy:icon_razz:

was going to drill loads of holes in it. Where do I get egg crate from?

Most LFS sell it or an Electrical wholesaler like City Electricals. Or you can get black Koi grid plate which is on the bay for sale. HTH Twiggy:icon_razz:
