quite a few, providing the circuit is no more than 100 square meters you can have about fifty, its irrelevent really, as in a normal domestic situation its very unlikely you will ever exceed the amount allowed by BS7671 if the circuits are split properly, (ie kitchen ring, down stairs ring and up stairs ring) so just add what you need, but dont forget the RCD protection and if you spur off dont forget to fuse down via a fused connection unit and im sure you will be ok to add what you need:) by the way, i dont bite if you need information, you can of course ask here but i would help if you pm me;)
    Kind Regards MIKE

many thanks bud, If you dont mind I will take a pic of my consumer unit. I believe it has two ring circuits on a trip switch. Sorry if this sounds dumb. Not up to the techie jargon but very confident about branching into a ring circuit and adding a few extra double sockets. :D

Just hate having a spur with a load of sockets on it ( basically an extension lead. Rather do the job right, keep it tidy ;)

i agree ive seen it too, its a hard 1 with the amount of points we need for our tanks, believe me you wouldnt want to see my electrics, i do however use all individual plug in rcds for my kit, very expensive but im lucky i run a small business and get good wholesale discount, hope you get it sorted though:)
    Kind Regards MIKE
