Nesting Royal Gramma

I'm just curious as my previous gramma never did this. I've had a gramma now for 2 months. It has set up home under a rock in the substrate and seems to pride itself on keeping it clean and tidy.. Keeps spitting sand out. He still swims about and behaves like a normal gramma but seems intent on keeping it's home clean. Is this a trait of one particular sex in this fish? Anyone know?

Its an unusual one that!!!!:confused: Ive never seen it befor but then again i was shocked to see one upsidedown in a cave:D:D
