    Default An unusual critter

Had this little fella in my tank for some time, very rarely see him. Went home for dinner today and caught him stood on a rock waving his pom poms about, Thought I'd post some pics of him for you all to see.

Its a Boxer Crab - Lybia tessellata, When it host little anemones on its front claws it is referred to as a pom pom crab. Excellent and hardy little critter. Dont have any in stock but do have porcelain and anemone crabs.

Yep just caught him one day wafting his arms around. Sometimes he looses his little anemones and I'm not quite sure where he is getting his spares from!

Its been reef safe for as long as I have had him. He really hasn't got any nasty claws to do any damge with, and just catches food using his anemones.
