    Default Cleaner wrasse????

    Hi all ive got a very strange cleaner wrasse its got a taste for human flesh:eek::eek: Every time i put my hand in the tank the little sod has a nip at me it even try's to tickle me to get me to keep my arm in:eek::eek: its that brazzen even when i try to chase it away it just sits and has a go at me while im trying to waft it away, has anyone come across this one befor:eek::D

    I had one that did this.. All they do is take the really fine hairs out, similarly to what your cleaner shrimp will do if you let them. Both simply think they are helping you with a clean. Think about it, the small hairs on the back of your hand must resemble parasitic worms to a chap that spends all his life cleaning fish 6 times bigger than him.

    Does make sense its just the little sod keeps makin me sh@t myself eveytime he desides to pluck one:D I just hope the jewel wrasse doesnt decide to help he's a bit bigger and i recon would take more skin than hair:D:D:D:D

    Oh and he's defo a normal cleaner wrasse guys:D

    Mine developed an instability in the head department as soon as she moved into the BTA. I dread to think if they ever spawn. She's what you might call a banzai clown and has landed on the brace bar before now trying to whip off a finger or two.

    Our cleaner wrasse does the same. It views arm hair as a paracite so trys to pull them out, I never have my hands in mums tank long enough for it to do it to me, it's just them trying to do their job and get any what they deem could be a nasty thing in the tank. My mum has a great time of it though...The cleaner wrasse one side trying pull out hairs or pecking and the trigger biting her...It's become a game to them...:D
