    Default 2 holes drilled in new tank

    Hi
    I need to holes drilled in a new tank i am buying as i want to have a sump that goes through the bottom. its an amazon cube from worldofwater 240 litres. shop wants £50 a hole/ is it easy to do myself or could any of you do it for a lot cheaper. i could travel as i deliver all over england north and south.

    £50 a hole, jesus. that's very expensive. someone on here must be able to do it cheaper.....

    I know thats what i thought. i would rather have a lash at doing it myself instead of paying £50 a hole. i watched it done on youtube and doesnt look to difficult. i even went and bought a drill today ready lol

    i have just drilled 4 holes in 2 sumps piece of pi$$,used erics drill too:D,one tip if you do have a go cut a piece of hardboard first with the hole cutter to guide the drill so the bit wont jump about.also use loads of water to keep the bit cool and no pressure on the drill let the cutter do the work,and take your time.regards mikk

    I would like to have a go and i would cut a hole the size i need into a but of plywood and idea where i can buy these glass bits i would need? does screwfis have them or b and q's?
