Hermit Crab ID Please - getting concerned

Anyone help me with an ID on this crab. Need to knowif he is fish safe he has got a little big so thought I would check.

He is a big boy, havent seen him try to eat anything yet, I try to keep him well fed but would hate to lose a fish to him:(

My LFS had him in a tank, he looked lonely so bought him on a whim (£8) a couple of months ago should of really checked up first.

definnetely a bad one although I cant id him, does he have a bigger left claw or right or both equal?

It could be one of the dardanus genus. I thought megistos at first but not with stripey legs. Those claws look like killing machines to me though.

Both claws are equal, best I get him out then before he does any damage.:(

It sounds like you need to take him back to LFS and get a credit, as Macca says he is a baddie and wont be long before he his causing trouble. HTH Twiggy:D:D
