The Truth Inside My Tank.

After viewing my tank i must confess to breaking every rule in the book,
Firstly i run with no live rock at all.Secondly i only use RO waste water for all water changes and top up,only use T M C pro-reefsalt.
IN the 4ft sump is ,bio-balls,filter floss,uv steriliser,and a carbolit reactor,apart from the sump pump, all so a hang on red sea prizm skimmer.
that is complete list equipment.

Hi Brian,

What are your parameters (nitrate & phosphate)? With no denitrifying bacteria are you relying on water changes to keep nitrates down? Can’t help but think your setting yourself up for a crash.

Secondly i only use RO waste water for all water changes and top up

What do you do with your filtered RO Water? Drink it?

if it works and everything looks fine just carry on doing what you do.i do the same with my tank if everything looks okay i dont test. derek
