The seem to be a lot of folk buying before researching. I have noticed one shop selling a bullocki nudi on the advice that it feeds on phytoplankton. These nudi as well as most feed on a specific spieces of sponge found in the wild in the form of Dysidea.sp, Aplysilla.sp

They will just starve in your reef, so please dont buy even if they do look awesome. Its cruel! and the more the sellers sells the more he will buy! We are offered these in the trade for pennys due to their short captive life and most shops with morals will not buy. Please do likewise.

If you are wanting a nudi and have done your research on covering weirs, powerheads etc then the only one we would recommend is a lettuce slug (I think I am correct in saying its not a nudi but resembles it) Make sure you buy Tridachia crispata as they is an identical one from indonesia that is being imported that is very similar but has the same feeding habits as the bullocki.

The lettuce slug will live in our reef as long as you supply adequate light and have a food source of bryopsis. Please leave all others in the sea - its cruel.

Good advice....

Sadly it seems there are far to many in this hobby who want something for its colour/looks & worry about what it feeds on or the habitat it requires as a distant after thought
