Hi, I have a six line wrasse that has been the ideal inmate but has now taken to terrorizing my flasher wrasse. I thought with a 100 g tank they would be ok. I have taken the flasher wrasse out of the tank and put him in my hospital tank as he looked like he was at deaths door. He has perked up fine and seems back to his usual self apart from a tear in his tail. Is there a way they will coexist together or am I doomed to keep one or the other:(

Six line Wrasses are quite agressive and now that you have removed the other one, the six line will think of the tank as his own territory. I doubt that you will be able to reintroduce the flasher wrasse without the same problem. I had a six line years ago and ended up giving it back to the LFS as it attacked everything.

Hi as Peter says the 6 line is a very agressive fish and will fight with other wrasses. HTH Twiggy:D:D

Ach that's a ****** to be sure. Although if it were me, I'd be inclined to take the 6 line back and keep the Flasher. You may find the 6 line takes offence to your next addition(s) whereas Flashers are lot easier going.

Just my thoughts.

it will to risky introducing the other wrasse back into the tank,you will have to rehome one of them personely i would keep the flasher.derek

Im definately keeping the flasher, its just going to be a pain getting the bully out of the tank, any suggestions??

Failing that try a fish trap early in the morning, just after lights on. Bait it with the Wrasse's favourite food and bingo, one fish caught neatly. I have had some good successes with Damsels in the past using this method.

Seriously though, anyone close to you who could lend you a trap for a day or so? What about your LFS?
