Thats a lovely looking coral. Never seen a leather that "pulsed" either. Well done! (and pm me when you frag it!:) ) -Gary
Nice looking coral. I too have never heard of anything like this pulsing. It must be quite superb to watch.

That's a lovely looking coral. I'm always a bit wary of sinularia sp since I had a problem with a dura attempting to kill a newly added frogspawn a year or two ago. But I might make an exception for a coral like that ;)

It was chemical warfare I think. I added the frogspawn with the knowledge that they are very susceptible to the chemicals produced by Sinularia sp but thought if I put them at opposite ends of the tank there wouldn't be a problem. So when 4 out of the 9 heads on the frogspawn died within 24 hours and the others weren't opening up I whisked out the Sinularia dura and popped it in my nano. I added a load of carbon to my skimmer and the frogspawn recovered very quickly. Can only put it down to the Sinularia being in the same tank. Bit of a bummer really cause I really liked it :(
