That'd be great m8 thanks :D
I'll have a look into the coralvue m8, after something with a crisp colour no pinky or yellowy tinges :D

I have had sys 200O units with arcadia bulbs, I also have had arcadia units with acardia bulbs. At present I run an TMC unit with aqua connect bulbs and and coralvue ballasts with coralvue bulbs. The coralvue looks amazing - It is so clean with a tinge of blue and this is a 14k bulb. The others that ran 14k bulbs looked very yellow and blurry if this makes sence.

PS If you want any bulbs ger a quote from me first :D

I am shortly after a new bulb and will be in touch.

I run a triple Arcadia 150W unit. Didn't like the arcadia 14KK lamps as they were too yellowy to my eye.
Currently running Reeflux 10KK lamps which are very crisp & white (I do supplement with T5 actinics). These lamps are expensive though!
10KK tend to yield the highest PAR, another factor for my hard coral set-up.
Best bang for your book IMO are BLV lamps. Used the 10KK prior to a Reeflux 'upgrade' which didn't make that much difference! They do have a more bluey tinge.
Good reference site below.

Hi Mark
I was never into physics, but in lay terms, what is PAR?

Photosynthetically Available Radiation. Rather than me try and explain off the top of my head - here is a good article to read.
