Just a daft question but how good/bad are these to keep in a reef tank???
Ive seen a tiny baby one for sale realy cheap and just wondered:confused: I know they are a predator but how predatory are they will one eat all my tank mates????
My tanks contents are in my signiture:D
(im not gunna buy this one im thinkin in the future:D)

Dont quote me but i would assume that any small fish would be a light snack, people have got away with it that i have seen personally even with shrimps, but id steer away from such, you'd have a better chance with a small zebra moray, or even a banded eel liek i have, shes kool with anythin, and i have 3 fish in the tank bout the size of a 5p, kool with hermits too.. just a thought :)
oops re-read again, you could be ok with a "tiny baby" depends on the fish itself i reckon :)

i have had one for 18months,it was 8" long when i got it,it is now 24".such a nice specimen to have in myb tank,i have kept it with boxer shrimps,peppermint shrimps,cleaners and small damsels with no issues whatsoever

Had one about 10" -ate all my peppermint shrimps ,2 cleaner shrimps and ripped one of the boxer shrimps arms off,---oh and my porcelain crab vannished-nuff said:D

i think you would be better off lee with a small zebra moray which are quite peaceful towards fish.derek
