i just wrote this and the site went down grrr, here goes again

working in leeds today, found out from terrac that i was within 3miles of reefranch, so thanks to his directions on the phone made it there in minutes(thanks m8)

my first visit to reef ranch and if any of you guys aint been i cant recommend this place enough, not only are the corals and live stock of the highest quality, possibly the best ive seen, but the owner chris goes out of his way to make you feel welcome, he is a credit to the trade, when was the last time you walked into an lfs and the owner and his assistant went out their way to talk to customers and find out about their system and just chit chat.

after a lengthy discussion with chris, today i removed my bio balls from my sump and what do i find under the egg crate the bio balls are sat on? a pistol shrimp!!

also came within a whisker of a disaster, when the wife got in from work she heard gushing from the tank, when she looked in the sump, a p/head i added last week had slipped and was emptying my water volume over the back of the sump, lost about 4/5 litres, if it fell off any earlier i could have lost the lot!!
