Picked up my coral from James on sunday and wondered how you can tell the difference between a torch or frogspawn?
After seeing both Mikes torch and frogspawn I think I have a frogspawn?
The tenticles are long like a torch but have buds off them like they are branching out? Not all are like this though?

Hi,
They are fairly easy to ID.
Torch have litttle "balls" (no giggling :p) at the end of polyp which is usually smooth and long (again no giggling in the back :D). Frogspawn has branching polyp's

Any luck with the pics Andy? Sounds like it could be a bubble coral in feeding mode?
