Slow site

Are we any closer to getting a different server James as its very slow tonight, not having a go just curious. Regards Eric

Blimey, 1 hour later, and the screens changing over before I click the mouse, its racing.:D

It seems fine to me :confused: , They changed the database server free of charge but they said I would need a premium server if it did not spped things up. The problem is pics are being uploaded that are nearly 1/2 meg :eek: And everytime some one views this they are pulling 1/2 meg out of the server. So to allow users to upload large pics etc I will need to upgrade servers. It is a cost thing but I should have spare funds by the end of the month.

Sorry James. I may have sounded like I was whinging about the speed. I wasn't, its a great site. I appreciate its presence fast or slow. Your effort in getting this up and running is great.

I think the speed is spoiling it myself, New comers would get put off it. Once we get it sorted then we wont have to wait for a kettle to boil whilst posting :D

Hi james I was not moaning either honest.:) Is there not an option to only allow upload of medium sized files. or members could use a program like windows Image Resizer for the time being.
