having bought a digital camcorder about 18 months ago, I've used it abuot twice. its a fantastic camera that plugs into your PC allowing you to transfer the video from the camera tape onto the computer. XP and vista also include a fantastic piece of software called movie maker that allows you to mess about with the video to create your own home movies.

the camera is a canon mxv30i. its digital camcorder mini dv. it uses the small tapes still to record. the newer cameras allow you to use DVD to record or a internal HDD, but this still uses the traditional mini tape (abit bigger than an answer machine tape)

basically as I said I bought it when my little girle was born hoping to use it all the time. its been used a couple of times as our new digital camera records high quality video as well.

included in the sale...

the camera still boxed with instructions and software
camera comes with re-chargable battery and mains unit
leads to connect to telly and computer
spare tapes (4 i think)
bag/case with strap
it works best connected via firewire on your computer, so I can also include a firewire card if you want one and the cables,
also I should have the wire somewhere that connects it up to your telly.

its a great quality camera with tilt view screen. small compact camera that fits nicely in the hand. ideal camera for anyone wanting to record digital video. an quick and easy way to create home movies.

paid far too much money for this 18mnths ago. not sure how much to charge.anyone willing to offer, then please let me know.

right then...had a scout about and seen what the prices are like online etc. think if I say £100 for everything would be a fair price. I can pay postage as well if it needed to be sent anywhere. its a bargain people.

if that seems abit much and I've overpriced it, let me know. I'm certainly not a camcorder buff.

tried already mate. there are alot of really old old ones on there, or really new ones, but none close enough to the model I'm selling. I think if I start around the £100 mark then its reasonable and then let people offer from there :)

righty then, bit of an update. had no luck selling locally or just on message boards so decided to stick the camera on ebay. same camera sold for nearly £300 the other day. see link for full details...
