Been out Eric.

What a race. Driver of the day = Alonso = champion (well, almost).

Schumi is HISTORY.

Hi Berns

You may be right on that one. Altough Schumi has had his fair share of luck over thet years. I actually think Schumi has peaked, and right to retire. I do not think he would win another championship if he stayed. Alonso has the measure of him, just!

It was a good race regarding of who won though, very exciting I thought, mind you, I was all eyes on Renault.:D

Hi Kev. I think Alonso would have won even if Schummi had not retired as he was catching him up fast. I hope he wins the championship it will make my day, cant wait until next week. :) Eric

Fingers crossed Eric. Alonso only has to score 1 point, even if Schumi wins. THe Renault will have a new engine, but, it could blow, or he could get taken out / trash the car.

I am holding my breath. Hopefull, he will do it.

You guys should really try watching bike racing!

Last World Superbike race of the season yesterday and for the vast majority of the race there was 4 bikes (5 for a bit in the middle of the race), from 4 different manufacturers, battling within a second of each other for the lead. Racing inches off each others, fairing bashing, braking into corners 3 abreast and oh yes... overtaking each other ;)

Fantastic stuff! :D

I have watched it, and it scares the life out of me. Madness.:D

Well, looking towards the 2007 F1 season........

With Schumi retired, Alonso driving a Maclaren, and Kimi R in a Ferarri, who do you reckon will win next years drivers championship?
