tunze stream 6100

my tunze stream 6100 is not working it just beeps i have cleaned the pump but still nothing only had it a couple of months.so do i contact tunze and send it direct to them because it is still under warranty i have tried contacting the shop by email but no reply for 3 days clams.co.uk :mad:

Hi Nemo,

IIRC Clams are currently in the middle of a refurbishment so it may take a little while to get a response.

The bleeping from the stream means its jammed this is usually from calcium build up. I’d suggest giving it another strip down and clean it again you may need to leave it soak for a little while in a low ph solution I add a little vinegar (I think your supposed to use distilled white vinegar) to some ro water.

If a good clean does not resolve this, I would concentrate on contacting the dealer to discuss the problem.

Mind you, I would be surprised if a build up of calcium had happened in 3 weeks to prevent proper running. My stream is about 20 months old. I think I have stripped and cleaned it about 3 times.
