We wanted to get some better pics of Andy's tank, those of you who have seen it will know that some pics do not do it justice. As Andy's tank is lit with a 20k buls the previous shots were a little blue. I took my camera round yesterday and had a little tinker with the white balance, shutter speed etc and managed (pure fluke) to get some fairly decent shots. Using a tripod makes an unbelievable difference and allows you to get really close in. The tripod used was a cheapy from tesco's and sells for around a tenner, and some of the shots would not have been possible without it. Some of the pics were taken with a flash, a few were taken without and i'll try to point out which is which.

So here we go. Enjoy!!

Full tank shots.

apologies to andy as there were some really good pics that the pc won't let me resize for some reason. hopefully you get the gist of how andy's tank looks. andy has worked hard in his battle against algae and this tank is a credit to him. it is literally stuffed full of very colourful corals and fish. the shoal of little damsels works really well, and they are very under rated fish, being the most passive of damsels. everything looks incredibly healthy. there were many other corals i didn't get photos of.

does anyone fancy having a go at re sizing these other images (only about half a dozen or so) they are pretty good. i've been having a go with the MS download image resizer.

if you can pm me your email addy and i'll attach them. :) :D

edit: don't worry managed to do it!!!
