Hi everyone
Im back from holiday, have a problem with the water being extreamly cloudy, Water Parameters are all fine just cloudy water.

Can you tell if it's just finely suspended particles causing the cloudiness or does the water look milky?
Reason I ask is if it's just particulate matter, you could add some filter mat to your weir or at a suitable location in the sump to strain it out.
If it's milky, then the root cause could be a bacterial bloom and you might need to schedule a few water changes into the next couple of weeks. OR something in the tank might have spawned. Do you have any livestock that could account for this?
Nice 1 subz, you've got it covered.
Regards
I have experienced a mild cloudiness a couple of times with my setup, but it was short lived. I opted to take no action as all stock was looking pretty healthy.
It was in the morning on these occasions that I noticed this, and by the time I got home fromwork, the system was crystal clear again.

It would be nice to know why it is cloudy. Do you run a Ca reactor? Do you use kalk? Cloudy water could indicate a lot of not very nice things going on. Check the fish a make sure they are not spotty. PM me if you need urgent help!

Water was cloudy for 2 days why I dunno.
Hi PinkFish
Probably some kind of algal bloom, being a new system, this is probably not so unusual.
