stronium is low i think? my calcium is 500+? Phos is 0 all other reading are norm.
iodine is high too? not sure what going on?
tank looks ok but xenia is looking dark and not pulsing much!
Whats your Ph and Dkh mate. These are linked and usually if 1 of them is high you will normally find that another is low.
Regards
Another thing, as it is pulse , it is usually a DKH problem , they are very touchy to big DKH swings.

The dkh is always at 9 and p.h. 8.3 been stable for long time and it still not plusing? so ive raised the dkh to 10 then 12 still not plusing?
I hold little understanding of these chemistry issues. I have never experienced problems with a lack of pulsing in Xenia though, apart from a colony that I placed in a shaded area of the tank. The rest of the stuff pulsed madly, but the shaded stuff was not happy.

what lighting is the pulse under? is it pom pom?
pom pom usually pulses better under T5 rather than halide, Steve at Coral Cultivations will back this up, as he sells his stuff by the load.

salt is seachem marine/tropic marin
How old is the tank, the salt mix you have done may just have been high in calcium. Are you using a kalk stirrer or calcium reactor?
The readings you have given are ok, both the calcium and the DKH should drop themselves(DKH more-so) over time depending on how much coraline algae and corals are in the tank and as far as strontium goes I try to keep as close to natural seawater as poss which is 8ppm. Usually if you do partial water changes the strontium stays pretty stable.
What size is the tank, livestock etc

What test kits are you using? Usually when this type of problem arises it is the test kit throwing a dodgy result. Be aware that some kits are far better than others. You get what you pay for. I recommend currently Salfert Profi tests. If you’re local to Leeds, or even if your not (we get people travelling long distances) bring us approx 50ml and we will test it for you in store.
If you have never supplemented for Ca it won't be anywhere near 500ppm.
