Hi all,
I have for sale a dual core pc of the following spec
64 bit, AMD X2 3800 dual core, 1GB ram and a 300gb SATA hard drive. Seperate DVD dual layer writer and DVD rom drives and Nvidia graphics (integrated, with PCI-X expansion slot) It is in a silver case with side window and lights as per pic and can be supplied installed with any OS you choose (please message me for details.) Its been little used as I soon moved on to a quad core!.
I am a quailfied Microsoft systems engineer, and will give free telephone support where needed (as long as its not 3am:eek:).
I am looking for about £180 for the tower, or £240 supplied with a 17"TFT, Kb and mouse. Upgrades can be supplied..let me know if you want more ram, different case type etc.
I am willing to swap for an equivelant value of live rock/corals or similar if anyone is selling up or has spare, provided it has no nasties.

The tower on its own (without the software) sells for £300 in our shop. With a monitor it would be £400.

What about 286, 386 and then the 486!!! And if you had a dx4 processor you were running 4 times the board at 25mhz = 100mhz!!!
Those were the days when a 14k modem would take all day to download the lastest sound chip software! :D
I worked in my own shop in Glasgow back them building PCs. Pirate software was the in thing and the barras was the place to get it! Everyone from the west of Scotland had the same microsoft office username! :D Bill gates soon got wise to that ;)
