Christ I was lost with this jargon and I have a degree in ICT.

I have been promised it will be resolved.

I need to optimise image signature etc. And if that dosent help I will need to move to a premium server to deal with the bandwidth issue.

Please bear with us it will get sorted. We are currently running a stats program to see where all the bandwidth is going.

Found site very slow yesterday, kept going away and waiting for pages to load, bit better today - but still slower than when site first started. Still a great site though!!!

I have been on for the past 4 nights running and its really slow my side, cleared out IE thinking it was that but no joy :(

as a relatively new guy to this site i have found it slow from the off. just put it down to it being a new site. be patient i'm sure everyone is working hard to get this site working faster. still much better than u/r in my opinion. thanks james and all the team for giving us an alternative where we can talk like respectful adults.... lenny

Lenny I am currently running stats on the server to see what is slowing it down. I temporaly removed a few signature pics that although are only in this case 70k can soon mount up. I think at the end of the day I will have to get it to the premium server. I should have news by the weekend as there is nothing worse than waiting for a kettle to boil -- sorry page to load. :D

I'd honestly not really noticed it until this thread brought the subject up - I don't really mind waiting for the odd page to load. This site is definitely worth the wait ;)
