tropic marin boi calcium

does anyone use tropic marin bio calcium?
if so is it any good? and is it a mix you just add to your tank without mixing with r.o water

The reason i ask i had a customer tell me he uses it and just adds the powder to the tank:confused:

I have used this in the past and have always mixed it with r/o and yes you can add it directly to the tank , in front of a powerhead though.
Again you must not add this unless you know ALL the paramiters of the water
ie; DKH,PH,Magnesium etc.

Follow manufacturers instructions save use approximately 1/4 of the recommended dose. It will rocket up you dKH but it won't raise Calcium as efficiently. Supplement Ca with a calcium chloride solution such as Kent liquid Calcium.
