hi all been asked for a few details of my tank so thought i would put pen to paper so to speak.
the main tank and stand is 60x24x24" with 20" viewing. it was made by seabray. The sump is 36x15x15 and runs at 12" of water. in the sump there are all the usual stuff like . kalkwasser stirrer (home made), calcium reactor, rowa-phos reactor( home made), heater, return pump eheim1262, chiller pump eheim1060, and a vecton 15watt uv steriliser. the chiller is a half horse power and keeps the tank at 25 degrees no mater what mother nature sends us. Water movement is taken care of by a pair of tunze 1200 ltrs streams and a 904 controller. Lighting is taken care of by a twin 250 watt accadia metal halide with twin actinics and the bulbs are BLV14k's. also a twin 58 watt t5 accadia unit. lighting as follows. the actinics on the main unit come on at 9-00am untill 9-00pm . The t5 unit comes on at10-am untill 5-00 pm . the main m/h/ burners come on from 11-00am and go off at 4-30pm . this gives a sort of varied lighting throughout the day. There is a small refrigium on the side 18x18x18 this is reverse lit from 9-30pm untill 4-00 am.This helps to lower the nitrate. The whole system holds after displacement of the 135 kg of live rock 120 gallons. There are stacks of sps corals in there and a few softies. The colour in the photo's are true and not been altered or modified in any way.
fish stocks are as follows:-
yellow tailed blue damsel
yellow tang 4 1/2"
Regal tang 5"
six green chromies
six line wrass
cleaner wrass
red hawk
sand goby
red spot blenny
cardinal fish
anthias
blood shrimp
cleaner shrimp
boxer shrimp
about 90 blue leg hermits
10 red leg hermits
two large turbo snails
and about 70 small ones (bred in the tank)
two short spined urchins

Very very nice Lenny.

Just a wee question, I have a similar peltata to yours but the polyps don't come out. It is in a lower light area of my tank. Is your in full light? I'm just wondering if moving it would be better. Ta
