halides bulbs

what is the best 250w halides bulbs for keeping sps 14,000K OR 20,000K because mine need changing soon

i use blv 1400k and the colour is great. if you have accadia bulbs now they are a lot brighter so make sure you cut the time down for a few weeks when you first fit them. lenny

i use the same, good bulbs , and like lenny says good colour :D

I would not go with 20k as IMO they are too blue.

I have good growth from a mixture of 150w-250w 10k-14k lamps that are over my reef.

Never see the point of paying a lot more on arcadia when BLV are much cheaper and do as good a job.

Of course everyone will have their favourites and i have and do use arcadia (free lamp) so the choice is yours.
