hi can any one tell me if the little star fish on my glass are doing any harm they tend too stay on the back of the tank and on my rock. i dont think they are going on my corals. do i take them out ? theres at least 40 -50 of them. any info on these little guys would be good

Are they small white ones name escapes me at the mo can be a bit naughty but if not touching owt at the mo then leave em I would keep a close eye on em tho?

i think you have Asterina starfish though its hard to tell without a pic, these will reproduce in plague proportions and its best to get them out as they can start to eat corals. they are manily nocturnal so you can either get them out with your hand or look into getting a harlequin shrimp which eats these and any other starfish you may have in your system. but IMO i would get them out

ratty i have these too i have never noticed them causeing a problem but thats not to say they dont really usefull link trik very good cheers
