Ok Guys can anyone help.

I have a 75g a day RO unit (Ro Man) and have always used my external tap with a fitting to produce the water. Problem is my outside tap is now broken so I am thinking of plumbing it to the mains.

Has anyone done this and if so how? Sorry a bit nervous when it comes to water! especially making a hole in the mains!

i thought mains was the only way i tee'd a pipe put a ball valve and put a end cap on then use the self peircing tap between the end cap and ball valve and away you go:);)

I chopped the cold water pipe under the sink and fitted a t-piece to it. The T has a large threaded section that has an external tap screwed into it that my RO unit screws onto.

No problem! ;)
