Morning
I currently just keep softies in my tank, but wondered what other corals i could keep under my current lighting ( 4 5ft t5 tubes )
I am not a massive fan of hard corals but if i could keep a couple i might think about adding a few also what about SPS's would these be ok?
Many thanks

Sps's and nems are out of the question im afraid. softies are fine and some lps ;)
How deep is your tank?
I have kept lps under t5 for nearly 2years with great results.
You may have to keep your lps nearer the top part of your reef depending on the depth. Make sure you give them plenty of room also, don't want to sting your existing corals.
I would first try a frag from a coral that is already under T5.
kindest regards chris.

You could keep a bubble coral as they don't need that much light :)

You cant keep SPS corals under T5s :0 :0 :0 :0 :0 :0 :0
Bummer ... just goes to show you why plainning is so vital when you start out.
What if you place SPS near the top of tank ?
Is this the same if you are going frag SPS (frag tank needs Halide)
What type 150W 250W 0r 400W do you advise.
Sorry if I keep asking dumb*§$ questions

The power of the bulbs required relate to how deep the water it has to push through. 150W will be for up to 24" deep, 250W is for deeper than 24" and 400W is for seriously deep tanks :D
I have kept sps under T5, but not for more than 1 year, there was very little growth and the colours are fairly drab. They are ok for frags also but only in shallow tanks.
