I found this today and thought it was quite a cool rock.

Also managed to get a pic of one of my sexy shrimps.

I was wondering whether they were rics too! I'm not up enough on mushies to really know, but either way I'm really pleased with the rock. It has several different zoas on it as well. Came complete with hair algae unfortunately but the hermits will no doubt see that off in due course. My mystery hermit has already shown an interest.

I am going to visit my son who lives over there. It is a place called Marco Island on the south west coast of Florida. His house is five minutes walk to the beach. Tough walk but someone has to do it!

cant see any hair algae on there so dont worry about it :D those mushies look even better close up, great picture!

On this rock I also have a couple of whitish rics(?). I haven't seen any this pale. :confused:

Might just be bleached should return to it's normal colouration if you are lucky :D

You are right. Both of them have now turned a similar colour to the others.

Hi Jenny mushies go white when they get to much light , they like to be in the shadey areas. Nice find there by the way Rics as well who's a lucky lady. Twiggy:D:D
