View Full Version : Anthias - but not as we know them

These were purchased as Squamipinnis Anthias. Sorry for the quality of the pics. They wouldn,t sit still lol.
They dont look like conventional squamipinnis (goldfish) The pictures are of the females . The male is whitish in the body with distinct pink/purple tail fin and bright red blotches on the pectorals. However, they all have the typical orangey red stripe which extends from the eye to the gill plate as in conventional Squims.
Any ideas anyone of what they could be.

im not so sure, ive seen these and really dont know,
he has a load of them, they all look like this cept the two males,
i mean what are the odds in buying like 25 squims and all males?
or turning into males?
