What is everyones favourite marine fish?

To start the ball rolling mine is a Flame Angel 8-)

Got to be the orchid dottyback for me. Always very peaceful and meek, but stunning colouration :)

They even have an occasional attempt at lowering bristleworm populations.

Agree that the flame angel is also gorgeous.

Hmmm.. I can only comment on the fish in my tank so I would have to say the scooter blennie :shock: for character and the psychedelic fish 8) for looks.

Best fish I have is the Yellow Tang, beautiful.

The fish I like but havent got the system to house them are the Addis butterly fish and the Moorish Idol, maybe 1 day!

Bicolour Blenny (Ecsenius bicolour),cracking fish,fantastic character!

Fish: clown but my fave is the cleaner shrimp :-D all i do is put my hand near the top of the water and he comes up and cleans under my nails and between my knuckles! :shock:

I'm not really a 'fish person' - I prefer corals, but my favourite fish is probably a contraversal (have I spelt that right :-? ) one - Copperband Butterfly - so much personality!

A close second are Firefish - a group in a large tank are superb to watch.

My fave fish was my algae blenny - Quatermass (cause he had a passing resemblence to the aliens from said movie). I say was, cause he passed away last Thursday. As we have had him for 2 years and he was full grown when we got him, I can only assume it was old age. All tank parameters are spot on. I cried like a baby when I found him.

He had a great character, loved to sit in my hand whenever I worked in the tank and enjoyed being petted like a puppy. He also ate like a pig and would sit next to me whenever I sat beside the tank to read.

at the moment my fave fish are my 2 Jackknife fish (Equetus lanceolatus)

My favourite is a Fuzzy Dwarf Lionfish, he is about 4" and in a reef tank with small fish and shrimps (cleaner, fire and boxer) and has been a perfect gentlman in the 8 months ish that I have had him.
He didn't eat at first but now I have him taking defrosted lance fish from my fingers. Lance fish held by the tail with its head in the water. 8-)

MY FAVOURITE FISH IS A MOORISH IDOL, MINE IS APPROX 7INS AND HE LOOKS FANTASTIC SWIMMING ABOUT NEXT TO MY SECOND FAVOURITE FISH A LARGE BLUE FACED ANGEL.

My daughters common clown, he lives upto his name and clowns round the tank, often seen taking a ride in the water flow returning from the filter :)

My fave fish is a Lipstick Tang, mine is about 10inch long and absolutely gorgeous and eats out of my hand. Eric :)

I have too many to be honest, and it changes from week to week! At the moment, it has to be the Moorish Idol, with the adult Emp Angel a close second!
