I need to get myself a fluidised reactor for phosphate removal, and my question is, can either of these two be used to create fluidised reactor for Rowaphos.

I've seen the D&D ones but there like £130, and these clear tide ones are alot cheaper.

Also will i need to run carbon alongside rowaphos.

There is a "two little fishes " phosban 150 reactor that sells for around £50.

But either of the ones you mentioned will do the job.

Would personally recommend the Phosban Reactor - great bit of kit wouldn't be without it now. You don't need to run carbon alongside rowaphos. You just need to be careful that you run the outlet of the reactor into a bucket until the water runs clear before letting it run back into the tank. Otherwise you get a fine dusting of rowa over everything. Doesn't do any harm its just unsightly ;)
