Can anyone please advise me on drilling a tank. e.g. how do you do it or who does it ?

Am doing a new setup on an existing tank and have been advised to use a sump on a drilled tank.

I have taken the advice on board and now need my tank drilling!

Any Advice?

Pat, anyone can do it with the right drill bits and a bit of practice.

Tankbuilders and lfs typically charge per hole, the cost of more than one usually buys the bits to do it yourself. Diamond tipped holecutters can be bought very cheaply on ebay.

Have a practice on some scraps of glass, then (if you feel confident) attack your tank.

If not then there are usually lots of people about that can do it. (Like Eric)
