Scallop, yay or nay!?

Guys,

The Mrs has fallen in love with the flame scallops at my lfs. I must admit i am quite taken by the things myself:-) But i thought i would check with the experts and get your opinion. The Guy who works there said they would be fine in my 90lt reef but then he would say that!? I have read that they can be hard to feed and thus keep alive for any lenght of time?? I am also aware that they like to hide, i would never move it just for asthetics, thats not fair. Your help please guys?!

they dont live long as tangman says but I had one recently and had it more than 6mths

I had 2 & they lasted 5 months. They can't get the food they need in a tank IMO.

mines hidden under a plate of rock, been in a couple of months and was quite interesting to watch move around feed etc, but a couple arse to try to feed where it now is lol
