Hi, I have a cube tank, 254 lts-56 gallons of water after displacement, another 45 lts-10 gallons in the sump, 29kgs-63Ibs live rock in the tank and another 3.5kgs-8Ibs in the sump.
Various soft corals, Fish at present.... a pair of black and white Ocellaris Clowns, one Mimic Surgeonfish (about three years old and about 4" long) and a Green Mandarinfish. I cultivate my own pods just to make sure the Mandarin has enough to eat. All parameters are normal.
Give me some new fish ideas....I dont want anything that will compete with the mandarin for food, I was thinking of a fairy wrass or maybe an Allens Damselfish or a Flame Angel.
How many fish do you think I could keep without any problems...........Thanks.......
im sure one of the others can help with fish stocking ideas but if you get a fairy wrasse get a wee net for the lid as they do like
to do a bit of carpet surfing.two freinds fairy wrasse's did that.

Wrasses are nice fish but also eat pods which your Mandy does so will compete for food. i would get about 6 Allens Damsel as they look great in a shoal and as they only grow to 2 inch they wont over load the tank, plus they change colour from black to metallic blue when they come into the light. Well I have just got myself a Flame Angel, about 2"-3" long lovely little fish. He seems to be settling in ok, the Mimic was a bit put out with the new tank mate, but only for about an hour and that was only half hearted chasing.....fingers crossed they will be ok now.
I was thinking about one more fish a Liopropoma carmabi (Candy Basslet) or the Liopropoma rubre (Swissguard Basslet), my LFS says they could possibly get one for me......Very Tempted........
