i went to my lfs and saw a fish labelled as apistia eating filefish
my question have you guys heard of it and what actually is it?

Hi Callum,
Well I aslo have seen on other BB reports of this, but a little unsure on truth of it.
I would imagine a true peppermint from James, would be a safer bet. :)

Sorry, but I had to laugh. :D Your title had me imagining this huge aptasia eating an unsuspecting fish.
But no, I know nothing about this.

Hi TMC had some in a few weeks ago when i was there they are green file fish and they said that the would eat aips. I personally have not heard of filefish eating aips but you never know in this game. Eric:D

ive had angels eat aiptasia , :cool:
they have also eaten sps and lps and nipped at clams :( :D
thats why i have aiptasia back in my tank :rolleyes:

peppermints from James made short work of mine:)
Was it a Acreichthys tomentosus? They do eat aips but also other thing's like zoa's ect
