Well i felt it was about time that i said something on here after lurking for the past two weeks!

Im not exactly new to this hobby, i have been keeping marines for around 7 years now but i am still learning day by day.

I have a 6x2x2 FO system at the moment which contains my two loves - A 5 year old pandapuffer and a 3 year old zebra moray eel both of these fellas have stopped me from ever running a full reef tank and i have always had more of a love for fish anyway!

I also run a 20 gallon nano which again contains more inverts then corals and with the help of james of the past couple of years has helped me to increase my invert population!

I dont have any recent pics at the moment as i have been away for the past 7 months and have spent the best part of the last two weeks cleaning and restoring my tank to order, after the parents had done a great job of making my fish extremly obese!

Well i look forward to posting on here and helping as much as i can, mainly in the fish department then the corals!

steve ;)

Hi Steve, nice to see you on RC ;)

Looking forward to seeing pics of your nice fat fish. I would dearly love a zebra moray eel (and a panda puffer would be nice too). But we are the opposite, too much reef to keep either :D

Yeah they are fantastic fish are the moray is amazing, he is pretty much blind but completly hand tame i have had to fish him out a few times woth my bare hands, and he has shown absolutly no interest with any fish even the tiny ones aslong as he gets he 3 mussels a week!

they both love to be cleaned by the cleaner shrimps though!

Yeah very tame! has never bitten me to this date, i hand feed him without any problems and have even had a case where i found him in the weir in which i just had to grab him and the term "as slippery as a eel" really does come into it! i think i have just got lucky though!

if i go away though and i get my mom to feed him when i return it will take he the best part of 2 weeks to get him eating from me again! very strange how that happens!

lol - he's just sulking cos you abandoned him. My dog does that every time we go away and leave him in kennels. He's called Moray so it must be true of all Morays ;)

You're fish and tanks are gorgeous. If I let my b/f see the pics of your eel, he'll probably try and buy it off you. He's always wanted a zebra moray. He tried to buy the one in Calico but they refused as it was their pet.

Welcome Steve.

Nice shots of the eel. Beautiful fish. Always been scared of these. Always thought they'd mutilate everything, and then mutilate me too.

You are changing my thoughts mate. Nice one.
