Scooter Blenny (dragonets) that is?

I picked one up the other day, seems fine but I'm just a bit puzzled by his behaviour...he keeps darting up the back of the tank and seemingly taking a gulp of air, anyone know if that is normal behaviour or a sign of a problem?

Not seen them do that, mine sticks to the bottom and rocks and never goes to the top of the tank. Just keep an eye on him and see if he still does it he might have a swim bladder problem.Twiggy

Mine did that when the O2 levels in the water dropped and when he was stressed.
Perhaps he will calm down after acclimatising. Best to a water check anyhow.

Cheers for the info there Bleah, well he's been in the tank about 5 months now, still does that every so often, but I think he's grabbing food, he climbs up the back of the tank nipping at things, pods i assume, he's a right little character but costing me a fortune in pods, going to breed my own to keep him happy although he does like mysis if the dopey sod can find them!
Just reminded me of something i spotted the other day...think i'll stick it in its own thread though...
