Im worried about my clowns behavior, one of them seems to be terrorising the other. They were out of the same tank at my lfs, where there was quite afew together, although they were purchased about aweek apart.
They seemed fine together but over the last week or so one seems to be chasing and nipping at the other, at first I thought it was the two pairing and working out who was the dominant one, as they do the little shudder/vibrate thing at each other but it just seems abit to much and has gone on for too long.
Any sugestions?

Is it the larger one thats doing the fighting as it will be taking over as female and they do this sometime for weeks showing the other fish that she is being the boss. As long as they are the same species they will be ok so dont worry as they are quite tough. Twiggy

that's it now for ever. she will chase him, cajole and badger him. then he'll end up being forced once a fortnight to spawn with her. then it'll be his job to fan, clean and protect the eggs. just the joys of being a man in these days of equality.

At least he'll get to spawn once a fortnight...

Lol, put my mind at rest there. Though they are pretty much the same size, possible the aggro one is abit smaller
