ok peeps i got a new polyp coral last week small polys on a big rock nice one from roys im a little undecided where to put it it has opend up but strangley , its opened up in lumps like fingers if you know what i mean, i i have it at the bottom of my tank im not sure if it wants more light flow or what what do you guys and girls think cheers john

i had one that did that wen i went from t5 to halide they where growing and spreading but did not open for a long time is that what you mean

jon wheni got them from roys they were out and blooming since i puth them in last sunday they are not out as they should be but out in like clusters kinda like a finger coral just like lumps will have to take a pic

ive got the same prob with a brown button polyp when i got it,it totaly covered the rock now only parts of it open i dont think it liked bein moved ive had it a while now and it still only opens partialy

i have had the same problem as well i just moved them up to a low flow area and more light and it seems to have done the trick

i keep saying i will try some more pollyps but have never had any success with them however not tried any in this tank so might call at roys and get some soon

Moderate flow & lighting an you should be fine.

might get some tommorrow off to a shop in huddersfield so might see if theres any in or might call off at interfish on way back theres always some in there
