Last night went to give tank final feed and saw my last fish added ( coral beauty ) with what looked like very small white spots .
Spent all night reading every thread and book that mentioned whitespot ( ich ).
First thing this morning round to LFS new bulb for UV , couple of new tubs of New Era food .
Got back had a look at the fish .............

NO spots perfect in all ways .

Any ideas .

Thanks Pau l:confused5: :confused5: :confused5:

They were most likely stress spots with being moved into your tank, as it was a new fish it would feel strange and get a little stressed which makes them come out in spots. Dont have your hands in the tank just let it settle down and i am sure it will be fine. Some folk that have this problem start messing about trying to find the fish to make sure its ok and in the process it stresses it. Just as long as its eating it will be fine it might not eat right away as they need to see whats in the tank and get settled. Twiggy

After reading the threadss I was just going to make sure every thing was working properly , thats why new UV bulb . Also read that the New Era food was ideal for maintaining good health.
I would then have left it and see what would have happened .
Thanks for the reply .
Can tell you ,when I first saw the spots , I was in a major panic .

Keep stress down and feed well and they will be fine, and dont worry as it will rub off on the fish as they can feel your moods LOL Twiggy

Unfortunately some of the advice you get stresses the fish out even more and leads to even more problems erics spot on
