Hi guys,

Just seeing if anyone might be interested as were selling our lads N guage train track as I built it for him but he dosnt use it anymore so thought it would be better selling it so someone else can get more enjoyment out of it etc.

Specs:

Virgin diesel engine with 2 passenger carriages.
Little stream train with 5 wagons (see pics as I dont know the names of them lol!)

Right, now the track itself.

It's 6 1/2 foot by 4 foot (biiiig hehe..) and I built it myself and completed about 90% of the scenary, all hills, tunnel, foliage, trees etc.
The main bit left to finish is the villiage/town as I started to lay the stuff down but as my lad never bothered with it hardly, I didnt finish it, so wouldnt be much work for someone to lay out the town as they would prefer and finish off the last bit of scenary etc (pics below)

As it has been stood for a while, it will more than likely need a really good clean as will have got a bit dusty etc.

Collection only as the layout is 6 1/2 x 4 foot so not something that can be posted.

Also would like it all to go together as it would make a great 'ready to roll' setup for someone and as can be seen by the pictures I really went to town to make it look pretty realistic (well, as much as you can where trees are about a couple of inches tall lol....)

Looking at £250 ovno for the whole lot (also includes controller too) and will need a van to transport it.

PS. when lifted I guess some of the grass will fall off as its sprinkled over a glue base and anyone who has done this stuff before will know you always still get some loose material. (board is 1 sheet of 8x4 and obviously because it has the track stuck down too it wouldnt be able to be cut down (also has a tunnel so track is a dual layer setout)

Mark,

I'm honorary President of a local N gauge group, I'll circulate a mail with a link to this thread and hopefully someone may be in touch. The only issue may be the distance in which to come and collect it as we're based in Stevenage, Hertfordshire.

Cool cheers Malc.
Yeah it is a bit of a distance but you never know :) also tell them the kettle is always boiling so a lovely cuppa tea or coffee is also included in the price hehe.
Sailin: yeah they do take up a fair bit of room.
Must admit I really enjoyed making the layout just a shame my lads not that interested anymore.

Obviously willing to drop the price a bit too, but not too much obviously.

not sure they'll be able to view it as non members. best to save images to your pc and then attach them to the email.

Lol yeah helis are a drain on the wallet! Used to have a trex 600n and even though I only ever crashed it once it still cost over £100 to fix and that wasn't even a bad crash!!!
