iam on a budget have a 175L tank no sump only live rock in at mo.

what skimmer is good but not expensive every body talking about deltec but seem expensive.

need help.

Hi,

Try a 2nd hand Deltec of EBay or a fellow reefer shutting down. No I don't mean to be funny, the MCE 300, maybe a bit small, or the 600.

Great skimmers as you probably know but the big plus is that they work by syphon so no HUGE pump, al la TMC v2 range, taking up valuable space in your tank.

I'd forget the Red Sea Prisms, never used one myself but I have yet to read a single post where someone says they can do the job they are designed for, let alone do it well.
