TBH Steve, they look more like nip marks than anything else. Can't understand why thy would be in the center of the coral though, and not the tips.

Hu
Have a look round base of finger, any eggs?
If worried a F/W dip will cure any nudi problem.

Hi Steve They look like a fish has been having a nibble to me, if you dont get any more it will recover and be ok. Eric

Hi Steve, I also keep a devil hand leather and it is about the same size as yours (fingers are abit smaller). Noticed similar markings about six months ago on three different parts. Eventually the fingers dropped off onto the rock and the coral heeled in a couple of days... I now have three small devil finger frags growing on the rock. (will post some pics when i get home) Not sure how these things multiply in the wild but will read into it a bit and post any findings!
Cheers Andy
