looking to add a smallish no bigger then 6 inch, peaceful, reef safe, colourful tang.

im thinking chevron as my tank is well matured and plenty for the fish to graze.

I believe these tangs are a little more relaxed so dont burn as much energy as other tang / surgeon members. please advise.

Hi Jimmy a pair of convicts would look better as Chevrons soon lose there juvenille colour and go black/dark brown, where as the convicts stay a nice colour and are also a peaceful fish.Twiggy

I personally think convict tangs look very bland.

They have very pretty marking under the right light, otherwise they do just look brown from a distance.
