Hammer head lighting requirements

Hi wonder if you good people could tell me would the arcadia t5(4 tube) luminaire 4ft be any good to keep a hammer head under as am getting mixed views from my LFS

Yep as long as it is not at the very bottom of the tank.

Yes agree 100% with Mr Teee,

Mine used to be near top of tank under t5's, liked it a lot.

do they need feeding? as lfs shop said they do. if so what do ya reccommend?

Some people feed them and some don't. Personally, I feed my lps...or rather did. Small pieces of krill, whole mysis, stuff like that. Both my bubbles also catch and eat flake food.

Had mine under 4x T5's no problem in a tank 24" deep. They were placed about 12" below the water level and grew a few new heads nicely. I'd say no problem.

Thanks got a hammerhead euphillia yesterday, It has settled in nicely:)
