I have billions of rotifers thanks to you guys!

1 Q. Should I have kept the rotifer feed in the fridge? It does not say on the bottle but I am wondering If I should?

I always keep the rotifer feed at the very back of the fridge where it is coldest. Not sure if it need to be kept there but it lasts for ages for me.

Maybe it doesnt have to be in the fridge? I always assumed it should be but could well be wrong.

Sazmo, is there a smell of the bottles when you open them, like a seaside smell once tides went out, not awful smell but not very nice either?

if it's phyto, then you can tell when it's fresh it smells of the sea, when it's manky it stinks of rotten eggs, proper rank.

That sounds about right. Its not a pleasant smell but they are fresh but its rancid when they go off.

seaside or veggie smell is normal if it has gone off you would not be able to even smell it as it will be so strong it will knock ya socks off! the rotifer feed must kept in the fridge or frozen for long term storage
